G'day, Thought i'd take a few secs to intorduce myself and one of my rigs. This old girl is my pride and joy and still a work horse. Always spending time doing her up. You'll note the interior and upholstery not standard, was our own touch. Anyone who has some good info, stories, pics and history on the Atkinson 4870's would love to hear about it. Also anyone knowing of any wrecks or parts floating around out there. She has a Big Cam 3 400 with 13 spd over, 40,000Ibs Eatons, inter 4 spring.

That's a tidy unit there, mate. Really good to see her still beavering away. Got any stories of your adventures in her?

Rags, I got all the upholstery done from scratch here locally. It isn't an Interational original. Tried to keep the same theme though. Will be painting some red on the cab soon with the Z's up the sides.

Yep the old Z stripe thing suits them, I reckon Chocs has a neighbor who has a blue one, (although its a long time since I saw it in the flesh) that had that scheme.

Rags, i'd like to see some pictures of Choc's neighbours Atkinson. There are so many paint styles in these things. I'm trying to narrow it down at the moment so any suggestions or photo's would be appreciated. Was thinking red stripes with yellow or black scroll work?
