Hi,

bit of a change of pace. . .

i.e. now that you've built your hot rod sleeper ute (and got away with it on this Forum), [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
your gonna redeem yourself by restoring a pair of antique stationary engines and a 32volt lighting plant.

Isn't life good?

I love stationary engines Bob, especially hit and miss.
A mate is also trying to get me to help with his 1949/50 Chev truck...so who knows ::)

mad_as_hec - I live in Morley so if you are in the neighbourhood you are welcome to drop in. FYI when I took it in for the reinspection last Thursday the examiner who passed it told me that he followed me all the way from Morley Drive to Welshpool and that it looked good on the road which was good to hear.
And a plug for the vehicle inspectors at Welshpool - they are reasonable, pleasant, polite and down to earth guys who know their stuff. I would not hesitate getting any other vehicle inspected at Welshpool.

After a lengthy wait and getting stuffed around by the supplier I have finally taken delivery of the white wall tyres.

They are now fitted and shouldn't look out of place parked in Swishies driveway

Are the fronts the size you wanted or the size you were supplied.

Looks good either way.

The fronts are the supplied 225's not the 235/70R15's that I ordered. I was between a rock and a hard place as the ute had been pre-booked for a wedding and a photo engagement for a mate so I had to get something on in time for this weekend.

The 225's do the job but 235's would look better. I have reached an agreement with the supplier for compensation and will be staying with the 225's.
