They're still available new stock. Any decent parts place can get one in.

Hi Jarrod,
Thanks for the tip, the only problem is i live in the town where the polly's live
Canberra, all the parts store only have internet parts look ups, nothing pre 1980!
Just in case you are wondering i don't wear a suit to work!
I have been trying to find a parts store that will post out parts, and who are reasonably priced.
This has been harder than i first thought.
Any suggestion most welcome
Jim

Getting on with the next jobs on the list, we finally finished the concrete in the shed and have been able to bring the chassis in out of the weather. Even though the shed still needs some work to finish it has a roof and floor so that will do for now.
I gave the chassis a good pressure wash and let it dry in the sun this afternoon, surprisingly the paint on the chassis is still in good shape after being left in the elements.
I am open to all advise from seasoned enthusiast as to what to check and look over, as i have said from the start the job is to be machanically sound for farm use, with out wasting time and money making things look too pretty. So no chrome or hot rod parts! only old inter parts will be used.
We want to keep the original patina look and may protect it with clear coat if needed.
Back to the chassis, i will have to take the wheels and brakes off and all new hoses, a bit fearful of the wheel cylinders too!
but what are some things i should not over look.
How much can i put back on without the body in place?
I would like to get it driving before the body goes back on,
I will also need to source some engine and gearbox mounting rubbers, can these be made or are they a formed rubber mount?
