I believe it is known in tramway circles as Balaclava Junction.

The track layout is called a "Grand Union" junction. There are not many of them anywhere these days (only ever one in Melbourne), and are highly revered by tram buffs (gunzels).

A hint. It looks like the road Swishy is on runs rings around the Geelong rosd.
