Yep Wellington Terry. Here's a virtual beer for you.
I'd rather have tools that I don't need, than not have the tools I do need.

One clue was that the photo was taken from a truck. Long ago, the two Sturt Hwy twin punts were replaced with bridges, and then Berri twin punts. The main one for trucks today is Swan Reach, as that is the direct route from Adelaide to Loxton. The others get only occasional trucks. I trailed my boat over Wellington punt just once. The operator was good juggling other vehicles to minimise the ramp angle, but I still scraped the rear of the boat. When heading to Goolwa now, I always stay on the freeway and cross via Swanport bridge. I have a photo of the Wellington punt in the vendor-van thread.
Here is one from a different occasion. PS Marion is a wonderful three-deck paddlesteamer, one of the big four of 1920s & 30s river cruising. It is preserved at Mannum by an enthusiastic volunteer group. One regular commitment is heading to Goolwa wooden-boat festival, held every 2 years. For years, only crew were allowed aboard for the notorious crossing of Lake Alexandrina. 2015 was the first time when it was allowed to cross with passengers, provided that assorted rules were met. I was one of those passengers, on the return passage. On the preceding afternoon, Marion positioned to Clayton to leave on first light in the morning to cross before wind got up. Joanne was one of the many cruisers running with us. By Wellington, we had been in the main Murray for several kilometres; the crew could relax and the passengers could gloat in triumph. In an earlier year, I crossed in my boat with a mini fleet. We had assembled at Wellington, to leave an hour before first light, then hit the channel markers into the lake at first light. It was a peaceful crossing; any repeat would be an anticlimax.
Of course, this isn't a quiz photo. Are we waiting for a new quiz, or is there one still running?
