I posted Sandown first up but checked some pictures of the Driver collection that turn p each year with their Clipper, but I deleted Sandown as their Clipper has 'Pioneer Tours' on the dour and not Express.

Could be Sandown but maybe the original site of the HCVC displays at IH in Dandenong.

That lasted for 66 h, without clues, about the right pitch for giveaway vs impossible. You can see now why I cropped out the man (yes, a well-known owner and supporter, but 30 years younger then) and the second bus.
Yes, an HCVC rally at International Harvester.
The reason for not spending time on preparation was that I had thought that it would go in the first 30 min. My time-taking Marree pub lasted for only 30 min.
That background business seems to be a coolstore, now relocated to Greens Rd. Many members may have driven deliveries to/from it.
IH is now Iveco, and the carpark is still just that, but perhaps with more surfacing than then (trees obscured my Google Earth view)

The other choice is now enclosed as a reward, not as a clue. I guess that it would have gone faster.

Alas, Clipper Beer decorated its cans with aeroplanes and sailing ships, not buses.

'a look' - 'a Captain Cook', but I am getting nowhere with that clue (should I have tried 'butchers hook'?). I have switched to it being a memorial to a truckie or truck event, and it isn't the Taroom one.
There are so many 'Major Mitchell passed here' memorials that I pass them all without stopping.

I had to make it less clear so you couldn't read the details and spoil the fun. I also 'damaged' the top of the plaque as it was going to give away the states involved.

Rodders, no truck event or explorer mentioned, just some politicians and an achievement.
