Well done 'dno'. I had thought that it was a bit mean: not a main highway. But it does get lots of buses, and enough supply trucks through winter, and construction ones in summer. The sign has been stolen and replaced many times. When I started skiing at Mt Buller, much of the road was gravel. It is now surfaced to the top, and kept fairly clear. Hence, chains must be carried, but fitting isn't required very often. Conversely, on one school week, snow had started falling at Mansfield, and the driver fitted chains to the bus at the entry gate. The carpark to village shuttle buses usually keep chains on for the whole season. Tour groups change at the bus park.
Hopefully, the momentum can now be sustained.
