This photo just came up on a Tassie Logging facebook page.... And no one seems to know what it is

Anyone have any idea?

Well werk i'll have 2 bob each way on a yank truck maybe peterbuilt just by looking at the oil bath filter on side of bonnet :blink:

I'm not so sure it is either an Oshkosh .... the cab doors just don't seem right ... the side window is a lot lower than an Oshkosh ... and its a lot wider than an Oshkosh cab

and this is one of the Pacifics from down south here .... totally different in the cab and guards

Could it be an old Zeligson ?. We had a few in Aus on the East Coast up in QLD on logging work in and around Maryborough/Fraser Island.

...Do we know that pic is precisely of a Tasmanian logger ?

Yes it was one of Sam Wilson's trucks at Stanley .... you know the second KW in tassie ... same bloke ;)
