Hi,
while channel surfing the other morning I found myself looking at this quiz on a 'pay to play' which had me hooked enough to see what I could come up with
Using the following list of Letters, come up with as many [strike]car[/strike] truck brands as possible. Letters can be used more than once.

U I F N
R L C B
H O K J
G A D M
T S Z E
I.e. Ford, Mazda
No prizes for the most or best answer, but then I am not charging you $5.50 per 30 seconds to be put on hold because there just sooo many other people playing or paying for a presenter that is trying hard to sound interested while wondering to herself if this will be the peak of her television career.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,
Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

How about:-
Chicago
Will-Witt
and many more from the wotzit thread
also
LGOC (London General Omibus Company) Yes, they made trucks as well.
Karrier
Commer-Car
Locomobile
Maudsley
Maxon
Yellow Truck Co.
Yellow Knight (I have the remains of one)
White
Schatt
RFW
Thornycroft
Pathfinder
Gaz
Zil
Zis
Matador
Shelvoke and Drury
Volvo
Seat (S.E.A.T.)
And a few steamers (nobody said they have to have infernal combustion engines)
Yorkshire
Ransome Sims and Jefferies
And hundreds more. Before the First World War, there were over 150 car manufactures in Britain and hundreds in North America. Many of them made trucks.

Hi,
the six letters missing in the table are P Q V W X Y.
Morris, there are a few on your list that aren't allowed.

Gryphon,
Say Hello to Graham and Shirley and your Auntie in Pakenham for me.
I can't be bothered checking letters. I just listed trucks I know of. Does that mean I am not allowed to, as Swishy says, "Take a wee sip from my own fridge"?
Oh, well! such is life. (too cold for beer, am into red wine at the moment)
Since thought of a few more names. Will list 'em when I have nothing better to do.

Wot? nobody commented on my used of the word "infernal"? I did it deliberately, it is only one letter away from the correct word.
Does that mean that nobody reads this?
