Swishy and Pete,
Bit hard this one eh ! Swishy the couple of KW ones I thought you would have got.

1 Swishy is correct - to the right and fwd
2 Swishy is correct. They dont have a gasket but many leaky sealy thingys and fire rings.
4 Swishy you are correct with Road Trains Australia - RTA
6 Pete is correct with uniflow diesel
7 Swishy is correct with B model starter, passenger side
10 Pete you are right with pressure-time
11 Swishy 352 Petabilt is correct
12 Pete your right GMH did make GM / Gray marine 6-71's in Vic
13 Swishy you are correct with Foden.

3 5 8 and 9 are still out there

Out of left field comes the Pak man.

3 . Andy your right. Brown and Hurley started out in an old bicycle shop in Kyogle.
5 . Andy, mostly there. Early KW's had "Kansas City" door handles.
9 . Andy your right, early low air warning device ia s wigwag.

8 . Somebody must know this one.

Older Trucks than KW never ever had wigwag signals
they had a buzzor or a dash monted red light to warn of low air pressure

Swishy, AECs from the 60s had wigwags but they were dash mounted.

The first Australian-built KW, the Grey Ghost, went to Kwikasair, didn't it? If so, you're talking about the same truck/s. I'm still struggling to find a playable video of the GG drivers talking about the suspension.
