Swishy,
I was thinking of the B model macks with the wigwag question.
I will give in on the Grey Ghost.
I have been reffering to the KW at the hall of fame in Alice. Kwikasair. No1 Aus built slimline , 6V-71.
Elvis suspension, Rock and Roll KW torsion bar.

Ah, only a shot of Bundy for us then. I have noticed though that the prizes seem to have gone from a can of Bundy to the occasional slab - and not by Barry's doing. Careful, mate, I think they're trying to recoup some of their raffle losses!

Question 8:

I do believe the suspension on the Grey Ghost was known as "torsion bar" suspension or, as it's known today, 6 rod suspension!

Q6: UD trucks, what does UD stand for?

To be politically correct, in the early days, UD stood for Uniflow-Scavenging Diesel! Now it's Ultimate Dependability - and that's so true as they are Hino powered, not UD powered! :P :-X :D

Paul - Shouldn't that be the Japanese truck salesman? I'd swear the huppypuppy has a huge financial interest in a Japanese truck dealership. Maybe he's getting paid to swing opinions on forums?? .. ;D
