Yair .. I heard my doorbell go about 11:30 AM yesterday, and when I opened the front door .. there was a coupla of the ruffest-looking individuals ya could ever wish, to not meet in a dark alley ..

One was tall and lanky and mean-looking .. and the other, shorter bloke, had a couple of teeth missing, partly covered by a mo that would do a sailor proud ..

They never said what they actually wanted .. so after perusing them up and down for a few seconds .. and realising they didn't have enough tatts to be Coffin Cheaters .. I figgered .. they must be TRUCKIES!! ..

Then they introduced themselves, as senior, well-known, and infamous members of a certain truckin' forum .. so I guessed I wasn't in trouble, after all ..

I decided they'd better have a decent feed, because both looked a bit famished .. so I arranged for a visit to a local eatery .. that, despite being pretty classy .. actually had no qualms about letting these dubious-lookin' jokers, in ..

Once inside, the food, drinks, and BS, flowed thick and fast .. and before long, it was nearly 3 o'clock, and they were looking to make tracks! Luckily, we never got any visits from the Grey Ghosts with the windscreen fliers .. despite being over our limit . .so we won out, on that angle, too ..

Anyway, it was good to catch up, fellas .. thanks for taking the trouble to drop in and put faces to names .. and next time, we'll have to convince that ole truckie from Wantirna, that the world doesn't end at the edge of the Melways map .. and he might even pay a visit to a Western city that's twice as good, and lots prettier, than Melbourne ..
