Kenny-mopar - The K300 KW used the VW cab. This was the old MAN LT cab, it was built in Brazil and sold to KW, to make the K300.
The same cab was used on a Mercedes .. as well as on the K300, the Peterbilt 270, and the DAF 45 .. as Paccar own KW, Peterbilt, & DAF (and Foden as well).

Hi Onetrack

They say 'you learn something New every day'?

Well I never knew that KW used the LT cab. :)
It was a very strong spacious cab for its overall size.

The cabs on the last two on the YouTube pics, look like the Leyland DAF lightweight cab we had over here, and is still in production.

Cheers

Just looking at the cab of the VW, the lovely set of access steps and the ergonomics of the door makes this freshman want to ask........ Wouldnt it be better if those units had "suicide doors" ie reverse opening doors? It would have to make climbing in and out while opening and closing the door a lot easier....... or am I missing something.
