Lang, The grey one NFI...
I'm 99% sure though that the Green truck is the same as this one..

1964 AEC Mandator

I'll have a stab. The grey truck is an AEC Monarch MK II, built from 1933 to 1939. Someone has nicked her grille, no doubt for scrap.
She's also sporting a non-factory bumper and bullbar.
The cab has the Australian or Tropical cab modifications of extra vents for the footwells.
Note the rear-hinged quarter-vent windows, the cab vents in the sides and the front .. and along with top-hinged, wind-out windscreens .. all those features made operating in the North of Australia, a substantially more enjoyable experience, on 45

Onetrack has it I think. The owner claims 1935. Also awaiting a price on this one. The windscreen surround and radiator surround may? be around somewhere, he is looking.

It is still working every day!

A couple of good finds there, Lang. Am trying to remember where the chassis number is on AECs - area of the front spring hangers at least, IIRC. Find that and someone like Neil Fraser in the UK will decipher what it is in a snap. I agree with OT's Monarch.

Really liking both of them, Lang. Great find.

Seed, that's a cool looking Mandator. Does the rest of her look as good?

More info from the owner. I will copy his photos to here after breakfast!

Hi lang, More details I think its 1937 but someone with access to manuals would have a better idea. Chassis no.0346527. Total length 5 meters. Width 2.2meters. Front overhang 400 ml. Rear 500ml. I just included a couple of pics of the 1967 mandator, motor is partially dismantled gudgion clip went down the side of no.2 sleeve on a rebuild a long time ago radiator, gearbox diff etc all there for parts. All a long way from Brisbane. I have a very nice large camp and shed if anyone wants to visit. Yes I am open to options. The old truck has no rust and starts and goes well so it quite unique. But its a lorry, fun to drive at its top speed of 30 mph. I envisage an army style ute back on it and a cleanup would go well at rallys. I will send another email with the bus details.
