Hi Roland,
Keep up the good work with the quizzes,I just looked up Unic in one of my old books and quote ,that in 1951 Unic
Began to collaborate with Simca. In 1958 Unic became
SA Unic the heavy vehicle division of Simca. May be
grandad should get one point.
Bring on the next quizz

I agree LN 700..
OK Grandad, you were very close (3 yrs)
But I did not know that until now.
I will have to try much harder next time, and it will not be from the same book !
Cheers

I'm entering solely off clues and not off knowledge.
British caravans, but continental Europe campervan, and probably rear-engined.
The blanked-out number plate is not UK proportions, and there is no driver's door rhs.
This could be on British soil, but more likely the sort of continental location where UK goes to soak up sun: Spain or Portugal.
Telling us that it is rare is a clue in its own right.
Rare made me think 'Borgward', but that make finished long before this campervan era.
Equally, the owner could have headed from the bleak north to the sunny south, and it could even have a front engine not requiring cooling in the bleak north.
My entry: Skoda, which did switch from conventional small cars in the early 1960s to rear-engined ones.

Hi Roderick,
I am just off to bed now, so here's a little bit more info..
1. It is on British soil.
2. It is a UK plate, blanked out to remove age...crafty..
3. It is extremely rare.
4. I only know its name. and country of origin.
5. I took the picture.
6. If anybody gets it I will be very surprised !
No more clues at the moment.
Good Night. 00.25 so Good Morning, really.
Cheers
