Just north of Glenrowan. The section was upgraded through the 1930s (ie surfaced, probably widened); this crossing was bypassed when the highway was deviated in 1957.
I'll leave the fuller coverage to the assemblage going into the Hume Hwy thread.
Apart from the motorcycle (c1915), the gates are a dating clue, but I have yet to get a date for electronic protection replacing wooden gates. I do have an approximate date for the matching crossing south of Glenrowan, but no reference to the two being done as a pair.

Another clue is the power post with the the 3 insulators and it's a short one too which makes it mid 20's early 30's .Dave
