This has been mentioned before but it REALLY HELPS both you and the others if you put your hometown or district up under your name. Recently a number of people without a home base under their name in the post have asked for parts,help or offer something for sale.
Many people with the means to help can not be bothered asking where you are to see if it is near or far. Others who normally would not be interested in the request might be jogged into action by seeing you are close at hand or know someone near you.
Even long term members who should know better are of "no fixed abode". If you don't have your home base go to your profile and whack it on.
