Three step process.
First on your home machine find a picture and resize it.
Second upload it to a image hosting website (see other FAQ about uploading and displaying images on the forum)
Third after logging into the forum click on the "user cp" tab. Then click on profile then click on options. The url for where the image has to be entered in where it talks about "I have my own pic" Make sure the tick box is ticked. Then click the button "save changes"
To check you can click on "view my profile" option on the left.
[hr]
While there for all you interested you can also set your location in this area which makes it easier when responding to postings. (State, town/city is enough). In a similar area to the above click on "edit profile" fill in the location field then again click on "save changes".
Again as above you can click on the "view my profile" to check.
[hr]
Hope the above all makes sense. Suggest that you print this out as I hope it will make sense as you step through the process.
Let me know by PM or via post again and will be happy to assist further.

rmanddd,
The reason you have a red cross is because the url is incomplete. Using what you have posted and since it is a photobucket account the following is the correct url:-
Which will create a image of:-
This should fix the issue! Enjoy!

Guys
I hope this helps rather than confuses.
I had the same trouble understanding how to insert a photo too.
So I adopted the following process.
Pre do your message including the image codes in a WORD doc. Then simply log onto the forum and then copy/cut and paste the whole WORD Doc text in to the forum reply/posting box.
By doing that you dont have to navigate around the forum system including having to open your image hosting site etc.
As I said - hope that doesnt confuse the issue.

Do I paste in the IMG code, or is It; the direct link, for Avatars??
