8 3/4" 4.3:1 crown wheel and pinion off a 1940's Dodge light truck WD20/21, VD20/21 or similar. I believe some A112 also had the same unit.
I need two but one is OK for starters. I am prepared to buy a whole axle if necessary.
To gear up my 1941 Dodge 4x4 pickup for a long trip - original diff is 4.89:1. It will drop my revs from 2600 at 80kmh to around 2300.
Any leads much appreciated.
Part numbers ring and pinion set 915606 or 1196677. Looks like one-ton Dodge from 1940 to 47. Could be others.
