I remember them, a mate had one in the early 80s, 15sp, IIRC.

Just to make things interesting, it refuses to build up air.
The compressor is making wind, but neither gauges are moving. Assuming it's a control valve.
Being a coach with flat airbags, makes access a challenge.

Culprit could be the treadle valve is exhausting all the air that is made, especially if it has been standing for an extended period. Towies trade trick is to get some wd40 or similar elixir into the compressor intake to get air valves working.

If it's not building air, fair chance the governor valve is stuck.  If it's a D2 style, they are pretty simple to take the top off and get the piston moving again. 

One mate swears by a squirt of Windex in the air line, for getting air valves working/not leaking.

You can shut off the airbags ,tap on top of each one (usually).......never try to blow off the maxis untill you have full air pressure.............if youve done any welding,black nylon holes from a small spark.
