Just zoomed in to 1000% and it sure looks like a woven wire grill behind the screen. That should make it Ford unless it has been changed.Hard to tell if Chev or Ford with screen over mesh on radiator[for me anyway, someone will know.]
Colin
PS. I just zoomed in to 300% I think there is a blue oval behind the screen

Re the Forbes photo of the Blitz semi, here's one taken just after WW2, shows my father next to a similar rig. (My late father, Allan, was a driver/ mechanic during the war and continued in transport till he retired in the early 80s - mostly with the old State Electricity Comm of Vic, but also a few stints with private employers, including time with Ansett running interstate in the mid 50s.)

Dad had a long wheelbase monkey nose Chev blitz, I'm sure the vent inlets were round with mesh over them and a cable operated butterfly open/closed knob near the steering wheel. Very seldom closed. :

Hi Scratcha, which BP, the one on the way in from Melbourne or the one on the way out to Adelaide. Wish I was going with you, hope it's warmer up there than down here. If you're getting fuel there, the depots down the bottom of town are cheaper than the servo's near the highway. Enoy yourself, cheers Tim
