Whatever was in the back must have really hung in there, 'cos the truck is flat on it's tailgate and it still can't have fallen out!!

It was loaded with shale. The driver was s**t scared. It took me about an hour to organise a ladder, and a backhoe to gently scrape the shale out , and bring it back to earth. He was even too scared to open the door to get on to the ladder. Still white as a ghost after an hour. He was the depot managers son ,so the incident was put down to a faulty tailgate.

I'd have got on the ladder, would not want to be in the cab when she came back to earth.

...i guess you'd just tip it out slowly BK ..

Seems a waste of a great truck, and a few FB Holdens. Truck is not LHD. The slide that I pirated from was obviously mirror reversed.

Bet ya everything was repaired. In those days EVERYTHING was repaired wasn't it? Now if it's got a bit of a dent it's written off.
