I'm interested in joining the forum, as my father use to drive interstate for Jones Brothers Carriers year's ago.
I have found photos and films of him and others working with the company and I remember going on trips with him in the trucks on occasion.
I remember the filming and was there with my mother following the load etc and filming. It was a rear end steering combo and a long concrete beam for a bridge north of Sydney.
I remember Terry Hocking and I think it was Billy Moore, they were mates of dads and worked together at Jones Brothers Carriers.
Terry Hocking moved to the Gold Coast and passed away years ago.
Billy Moore lived out near Green Valley Sydney. He had a couple of children I remember his daughter went onto be a great jokey.
I met Mr Morry Jones on lots of occasions and he was fantastic to me as I was a kid.
I was looking on line to see what ever happened to the company and came across your site and the person doing the biography.
