Hi guys interesting you say Heidelberg council,my cabover is ex Heidelberg council single headlight 555 Alison auto on torsion bar 1974 model.

That looks to be a good resto project.

Mightnt be original....but....an 871 will do fine

Yar .... And bloody slow with 7.2 diffs :o

I counted more than 20 555 powered 8x4s under ch/no 401000 most were fleet trucks BP, Amoco, Riddell etc. And a few KW stock ones too
