Spot on Paul- This old girl is the one I used to do interstate in- 1970 model, no bunk, no heater, 180HP ( I reckon more like 150) 6lxb Gardner, single drive with lazy axle, ex Nestles Dennington. Dad had it stretched and put the tray on it, and the trailer, so it would cart eight cars. The slowest, most uncomfortable, hottest, and coldest truck in the whole wide world... But never broke down. Bloody thing.

Don't know why it's upside down! But it certainly did use to bloody wobble, rock and roll a lot. We bought some secondhand radial tyres for the steer (Wow, RADIALS!!!) One of them lasted about 80k's and went BANG when I was in angel gear down the mad mile up near Broadford and I fairly crapped my pants, and it did nearly end up on it's roof. ... So on with the rag spare tyre on one side, the radial on the other, and off to Brisbane we go.....
