I am thinking we could do with your historical knowledge. The forum has all things truck but unfortunately many of the vehicles discussed have never been seen in this country, both US and European, so we rely heavily on what is written by others. Cross referencing between sources usually comes up with the right answer but as you have just pointed out there is many a slip relying on third party info.
