All the Zacuba KW trucks were owned by TNT Equipment............
As was every thing in the TNT stable.............
Then were leased to the other departments such as Comet , Kwikasair. Alltrans, etc etc etc...........
The Zacuba cartage contract was held by Alltrans Bulk Division ,(still part of the TNT empire...........)
The Zacuba Brick yard was owned by Sir Norman Nock (of Nock & Kirbys fame) who supplied the finance .......
And three Italian groups that supplied the knowhow ZAcarati...,CUnya,.. BAyuti (spelling???) Hense the name ZACUBA
So the 8 wheelers were transferred from Comet and Kwikasair to Alltrans Bulk Division
while still actually owned by TNT Equipment......
The cost of converting them to carry bricks was borne by TNT Equipment (as the owners ).........
Each section paid an almighty lease arrangement, so they in effect, were running at a loss.........
Supposedly TNT Equipment made the profiit , and could wipe a lot of that off in expenses
depreation etc etc ............
That whole rigmarole just ties up money for taxation purposes. ....................
That just about sums it up .................
