Only way to go!
Ran those engines or similar in LW 'B' pulls, S24 Euclids etc rated around the 500 hp, thirsty buggers though!
Seems when they started getting up into that size gear, Allison/ Clarke were used quite a bit, wouldn't have been too worried about tare weight.

How close did the fuel tank come to being ripped off on the top of the ramp ? Magnificent machine. Would that have been std length of chassis.?

That video was taken at the 2018 ATHS National show in Reno NV. I saw the truck there and recognize the background setting
