Keep the photos coming! This repair is similar to what I have to do on my Morris JB van so I can learn heaps! Are you using MIG, TIG or oxy acetylene? :-?

Try some sort of auto body shop or crash repairer, they should be able to fix them :) ;)

At around $70/hr here is at least 10hrs in ea * paint = expensive guards

Buy yourself a hammer and dolly . A mig welder ,and a big tin of bog.
Pratice on something first , Or may end up not quite to your expectations ;).

I think $700 each would be a cheap fix i would hate to see what someone would charge to make you up some new ones.

First thing i would do is get them blasted and primed so you can really see what they are like.
I thought most of the panels on my 1927 were not to bad (how wrong was i).
