I didn't know if l should start a new post but after reading a post to search the net it took me to my orig. one, two years later and a lot of recouping l am back (alibet part time) in the shed.
Took chassis to sand blasters last week, finally got windscreens out and a heap of bits powder coated.

fxs80, Good to see you back at it Gary, will have to try and call in to see what you and the red head have been up to, there is nothing like a D Inter to admire unless it's a Power Giant Dodge mid 50s to 60's

Pulled out fuel tank, surprise, surprise, had water in it at some time, shake, rattle rattle, pull all brings and sender unit, or what was left, shake a bit more and a ton of cr@p falls out the holes. Looking through sender hole l see light, bugger! So off to Natrad, picked up tonight, wow, all fixed and ceramic lined for $145 gotta love that.

POR make a ceramic tank sealer kit.

You must follow the instructions to a T.

I have it in an HQ Ute tank I modified and after 4 years it's still going strong.

Although at $145.00 I'd let the experts do it.
