I'm pretty sure I was told that this immaculate W Model had done 3.4 million before it was given to the museum
And the tail end was all hand painted
The original prototype T600 Anteater on display
And a one owner 1946 Kenworth, amazing
Aussie Aussie Aussie............well they're green and gold aren't they
My camera died at this point so it was perfect timing to go in for a feed. We got a motel just down the road then were up and at em the next day for the trip to Sacremento for the car and train museums. Stay tuned

Time for a bit more. As I mentioned we left Brooks Oregon and headed South toward Corning which was a 450 odd mile trip. This was travelling the full length of Oregon until we went up a 9 mile climb and once we were over the other side we were back into California. We arrived late and stayed at the Rolling Hills Casino, it was a long day. Below are some shots from that leg. Stopped for lunch and fuel at a huge truckstop, here's a few piccys from there
I was surprised just how many women pulled in to fuel their rigs. There a lot of chicks driving over there
Chappo was going to go to ASICS and lodge a complaint that his business name had been copied
Check this Kenworth and just think, it was 92 feet long and grossed near 60 ton - yet was only a 475 hp and 13 speed. There are not too many 18 speed and big horsepower trucks specced over there
This cool Peterbilt pulled in and I started snapping a few pics of the detail in the paintwork. The cool couple that owned it then came out and had a chat. It used to be a show truck but as work ramped up, owner Paul put it back on the road. $23k for the airbrush work, check out the chassis.........
They had a chat for a while before making tracks. Old Cunning is a bit of a sucker for a pretty girl who can steer a big jigger so when Malissa climbed into the drivers side and fired it up I started to flutter the eyelids a bit. I was sure that if i brought her home, Mrs Cunning would have grown to like her
Back on the road. The climb out of Oregon tested me out on the gearchanging. I was glad to see the top!

The following morning we headed South about 100 mile to a part of Sacremento called Woodland. We pulled in there at the California Automobile Museum and secured the trucks. The following pics are of some of the most amazingly restored and appealing cars I have ever seen in one room. If you don't like cars, scroll down really fast!

Glad you're enjoying them, I guess we're all into the same stuff!
Debo the plane was a Ford tri motor model, extremely immpressive model. Here's a heap more..............
Yep, that Cobra is an original AC with a factory fitted 427 side oiler in it. 1.5 million sitting right there
