ROLAND IS IN VICTORIA, I see it made headlines on here, Roland welcome MATE to the land of OZ, you been in Victoria I won't hold that against you,I was born there only it was only a half mile over the border. If you brought your top hat and tails you could go to the Melbourne Cup. I hope to do a quick trip to Yarra Glen on Sunday. Welcome again

Well my Inter will not be there. It seems to have dropped a valve in no 3 cylinder yesterday.

The mechanic had taken it for a test run and dropped it in his wash bay with it running while he went to get the stuff to wash it. As he walked back it was sounding sick but it had been fine when he walked away.

He pulled the plugs and the one in No 3 had a mark on it. He gave it a compression test and no 2 was down in compress but no 3 had none at all. This was after lunch yesterday.

He had a couple of jobs he had to get out then he was moving vehicles out to put the truck amongst his personal cars so it was under cover for him to work on and locked away at night.
He kept telling me how nice a truck it was to drive and was devastated that he needed to make the phone call. Other people up here who I trust know him and vouch for his honesty so that is good enough for me.

So whatever needs to be done will be found out once the head is removed. If it is the valves then they will be replaced with hardened valve seats etc for unleaded fuel and any other work to fix issues or improve the beast undertaken at that point.

No other decision will be made until we know what we are looking at

Well did a rekon trip today out that way so if nothing change will all be good for a departure next Saturday
