No mention of H`Hume for a while I am about to leave on the trip

Hope it is still on When the Cook and I get There

I'd say cunning is flat out with last minute details, but I'm sure he'll be along in due course to give us an update..

A small contingient is leaving east Mexico on Thursday ,to arrive at Richmond (Clarendon) on Friday afternoon.
Meeting up with Old Don who is travelling with me (brave man) down to Yass then on Sunday on to Bairnsdale , and will put him on the train to Melbvagus on the Monday...
Who else is doing what and or for whom?

I'm bloody jealous. Not going this year, much as I'd like to.

make sure you take lots of pics, we'll be eagerly watching for them!

SteveB, which way are you going back to Bairnsdale from Yass. Down thru Cantberra & come out at Cann River or over the hills & direct to Bairnsdale?. Which ever way you go have a Safe & enjoyable trip. I can echo Prodrive's statement, I'll be watching for the pictures. Cheers Tim

Chipmonk.........Thanks for thinking of us Mexes, The old road holds many memories for me......First went through there in a truck in 1960...God help me in a Kew series Fargo...and last drove the Hume as a truck driver 15 months ago before retiring, as the freight rates were so bad it was'nt worth the effort any more.
I only carted prime contract freight and still was beaten on quotes by up to 50%...
