Hey Swishy and Puppy i have to tellyou there were other trucks there too where BL**DY H*LL are the pommy trucks just remember you young whipper snapper BRITISH TRUCKS made this country ;D ;D.

You just ask any old transport company thats been going for more 40years and most of them started with pommey trucks as thats all they could afford. Dave :-* :-*

Swishman, none of "your" S-models, I'm afraid.

So there's no whinging ( ;)), here's a bit of everything. For more pics, you'll have to wait for the August or September issue of the magazine!

From the top:
L-R Ross Firth's Commer recently "imported" from Tassie, Bruce Gunter's truck debuting fresh from resto and Dave Kent's well known South Aussie noise-maker.

The Marquet family's well known Acar (with GM) and their just bought, quite complete, Leyland Comet. They tried to get the Comet to run after 20 years of sitting. She'd turn over but the starter motor was u/s.

Bernt Damm's "fun" truck as featured in a recent issue of ACC. Bernt acquired this Merc so he could have some fun while restoring two others - she keeps him sane apparently!

that bedford tipper looks nice ..what motor did it have between the chassis rails? ..also its the first tilt cab ive seen on a beddy !
