Thanks for the photo of the LNT Louie, you don't see many still as a prime mover which breaks my heart, most are now table tops or ridged  tippers or in the rubbish in someone's yard. I spent a hell of a long time in LTL's on interstate, but the first 18 months of interstate in a LNT and the love affair is still there.

Many thanks or the link to Smokstack.  There was a huge collection of everything there.  Literally something for everyone.

There were several terms that were new to me, maybe some of them are local sayings but I don't know what they refer to.
Some I remember are:-
Portuguese Maid
Cranky Lady
Mr Noddy
Mr Winky
Cranky old bugger
All Daffy Duck

Maybe some of them are nicknames for people who are known to locals and it would be no help naming them.
