RE: TH@ fog near the club trailer
Hope U aint camparing Fog with BS
LOL
Dont confuse SAR with the original 'S' model KW
SAR = Short Australian Rightandrive
SAR made in Austalia from about 1975
Fully Imported 'S' model KW 1st batch arrived in 1962

COE KW twaz never an option way back when
as there was no conversion available to RHD
where the 'S' models were built state side RHD then imported

all the above info n more could B obtaianed by the new KW book th@ waz released @ alex by Ed Cameron
tiz a great read n even I have a cupla pages in it
LOL

Replied by atkipete on topic Re: Kenworths
Your right Swishy, I was mixing my Kenworths up. Was it the SAR that had the steering box mounted behind the front axle, I know Atkinson were criticised for doing this but they werent the only culprit. What is Ed's book called and who is selling it ?

The book's for sale for $40. It's a great insight into the life of one of the "names" of Aussie trucking.

Just wish the text font was in something else that doesn't resemble/is Times New Roman! :D
