Couldn't give a you-know-what about rods but if there's a good amount of old trucks there, it'll be a goer.

Shortest slowest way is thru Healsville ( Slo cos of the Black Spur ( winding Mountainious fern lined picturesque Marrondah Hwy))

Thank goodness you put the map in Swishman. No idea what Eildon Weir, Healsville, Marrondah or Yea mean!

Will be a good exploration trip methinks. We'll be coming from Pakenham so can pretty much head straight up by the looks.

There is usually a contingent of HCVC guys and vehicles there. I think deadly normally goes. It suffers a bit on the historic truck side as the Echuca Steam, Horse and Vintage Rally is on the same weekend and qe usually end up with 20+ members and vehicles there as well (my Inter and Tractor are booked in for Echuca this year).

Some people do both by heading to Echuca on the Saturday and Alexandra on the Sunday

From what I have seen in photos the whole town of Alexandra is basically blocked off for the show on the Sunday. It is Queens Birthday weekend over here which makes it the official start of the ski season (the best think about ski season is the snow bunnies- you can keep the cold, the snow etc). There are sure to be other things on as well.

Ooh, Echuca? Long weekend? Hmm...

Something to consider but just booked for Dubbo in July with my father-in-law so we might just stick to an exploration of Melbourne surrounds that happens to include Alexandra.

Im going to be at echuca this year but wont have anything entered.
Theres another rally on too at Big Hill vineyard but im not 100% shaw on that one..
