East link run

HCVC are taking a run down the new East Link toll way for free on 6th July 2008 .

We are meeting in Ringwood in the carpark next to RACV on cnr of New & Marroondah HWY at 10-30 am and finishing in Frankston for a BBQ at a members home byo meat & drinks etc.

I thought you were coming down today. I went over to see the steam fellas at Scoresby and their new baby. Eastlink is a great job but a road that long needs Services or somewhere you can put over. ie like the one on the Ring Road.

Who turned up with that orange TK with the HIAB?

Pete i was but a little drama with the 34 i cracked the inlet manifold i got bit heavy handed with it so had find another in my spares.

By way still looking for the spanner #@$#@%$# somewhere in the back yard .Dave

Thought Dave must have broken down on Eastlink and rushed home to see if he was on the 6.00 news.

Thanks fellas for your concern about me & the 34 but at the moment we might not make the run in the old girl she is sucking air and running lean.Dave

Time to get a Internatioal truck , always remember if it aint red the leave it in the shed. Dave if you get the 34 going you will have to fill up at Frankston like me to come home. Did the manifold work.

There is another Red International that is going on Sunday. Red trucks go fast and don't like being "left in the shed".
