The Mighty R-200 also red will be out of the shed in the morning to be washed , fueled and checked over for the Intrastate trip to Frankston on Sunday. Fly the Flag and show the public what the Club has in Vehicles.

Hey Podge, Make sure this one's got plenty of fuel, you don't want it to develop Bedford habits!!

Just got home from the East Link Run down to Dawes Ranch and and traveled in a 1949 "ML" Bedford which had problems at sea level once it got near the mountians it cleared it's throat and went like a dream.

Deadly, it was a rather dusty AR162 Inter and a 1940 Ford. Hopefully there will be some pictures uploaded in the next 24 to 36 hours for all to see. (I need to get Mrs P's permission)

The beer barrel Ford was only finished 6 months ago and has been convined to bring it to our display day. It is the same size as Russ's 1940 and hopefully we can park the pair together fo some good photos. Unfortunately I didn't get any photos at Squeaky's or of the Beer Barrel. Thank you to the Dawe's family for their generous hospitality. The scones were wonderful and we left feeling like we had been treated like royalty!

Two red Inter's cleared their throats on the way home and were keeping pace with most of the traffic (approx 90 km/h). I think that was the closest anybody got to 'hooning'!

Yes, I missed it too - magazine duties. Was a glorious day for a run and it looks like everyone had fun. Great turn out too.

But don't you need to research stories? That was my excuse for going for a spin instead of doing the yearbook! ;)

Yes, I do, Bruce, but at some stage I have to bite the bullet and actually put the issue together! Latest issue is on 22 pages and I'm not finished yet!

Btw, give us a yell when you need a hand with the yearbook.

It is a great job they have done but one miserable truck parking bay in a road 40kms long ?? Could have built a few instead of those silly sculptures.
One point to watch, if you are heading in from Croydon and turning towards Dandenong the on ramp is only one lane and fairly short.
