I heard people who turned up were charged $45.00 per vehicle to get in, not the $25 mentioned below and camping was another $80.00. Isn't this getting a bit excessive! I heard a couple of members refused to pay and went home instead.

I mean Convoy For Kids, which is a charity, give the historic clubs a cheaper rate than the others as the realise our expenses are out of pocket and not tax-deductible. There is another event coming up raising money to buy feed for drought affected farmers and I don't mingd paying the $5 or $10 as it is being run by rotary clubs to assist those in need. To me that is no different ot me putting my hand in my pocket to make a donation,

Then we get an event like this! These commercial interests are getting out of control.

I think I will start another topic on the issue of paying to go to events tonight

Having lived through a pandemic I now understand all the painting of fat people on couches!
