Some Forum issues

Well... That was interesting.... On my phone... Checking the forum latest.... Checked a few recent posts... Then scrolled down to find the next one to look at and I had hundreds of unread posts...

Scrolled up and realised in between clicking on unread posts that the forum had logged me out and logged me back in as 1936ace...

I have no idea who that is... But I logged out and logged back in and here I am back... Got me stuffed

Depends whether you born in 1936 I guess, which means you would be 84 years old and very possibly an ace too?

I've had that happen once too Werk, a couple of months ago. Not 1936ace but someone else, i forget who. I did the same as you and it hasn't happened since. I was using my home PC, not a phone.

it is an ongoing issue.

I made some changes a little while ago to try and fix it but obviously it hasn't worked so i will have to come up with a new idea of what to do next.

Almost every day now, I have to log in.  I always click on "Remember me."
What I cannot understand is that every time, before I find that I have to log in, I am always listed as being on line (but I cannot open anything)
It is beyond my reasoning.

I love telling computer nerds that I was born before computers were invented.

Morris, are you using the "LOG IN" at the very bottom left hand corner of the screen?  If not, try that one (and also select "remember me" there), that might? help you.

Find if one of the recent short posts clicked on then scroll back down to the list, green ‘new’ will have appeared. Actually logged in. Not sure why.

Yes I always log in at the login bit near the bottom of the left hand side and always click "Remember me," 

Like Morris, I have the same issues. I would always log in/remember me at the bottom of the page, but it made no difference. Now to save time and effort, I just do it all at the top. I'm used to it now and not in a hurry, so it's no bother.

I’m all over the place sometimes I don’t have to login for a week other times it is every time I have a look not really an issue for me
