Dodge Truck 318 Engine AT4 to D5n

Could one of you Mopar gurus be so kind as to enlighten me on the 318 dodge truck engine.
Found one, I'd like to slide into my D5n to replace the 245
Will my 4 speed mate to a 5 speed bellhousing?
Clutch difference etc?

Clutches were larger if the engine was from a larger dodge truck ... I don't know if a 4 speed bellhousing will bolt up to a 5 speed box but there's a very good chance it will

It's out of a 600 mines a 400
Was thinking the clutch would be bigger.
Here's hoping the bolt holes are the same. And input shaft the same length Was thinking that as the 318 was an option in a 400 4 speed one would think it will or should work That's like the weather man sayin 50 % chance of rain

at least being from a 600 series the 318 will be the heavy duty version it will last until haleys comet appears again

Looks as if the planets are aligning for me, bell housing drilled for 435 and 540, clutch spline same too.
It had been sitting for a while got her running yesty after a blood transfusion, set of plugs and a couple of batteries. It came out of a bush fire truck so prob hasn't done a lot of miles. My biggest prob is it don't have an engine number where it is supposed to be.
