Actually saw this truck being hauled north last week when we were heading to Augusta. Thought it was the Army using civilian transport.

The owner of the Beast is a true wanker. I watched the TV show for a while and it was horribly over dramatized, probably not the wankers fault, but he is unbelievably up himself. some of the recoveries he was doing the Beast was being pulled along back towards the job. Reason being is that he did not have a clue what he was doing. All the time he brags on how this thing has the power to recover some certain model tank but it could not pull a small mango tree out of the ground without being dragged backwards.

Never underestimate mango trees ,cobba......I did once ,and it cost me......bloody things are made of rubber ,and a smallish looking tree about 6 ft tall had big enough roots to fill a 10 m tipper body.

Have not seen any of the TV shows on this lot but going by the rest of the "reality" shows I don't doubt for a minute they are 75% BS.
Joe public would not have a clue.
