Thanks Oliver, now it all makes sense, ......I think.
I can still recite it at least 50 years since I had to learn it in high school.

Artsie fartsie stuff was pretty low down on my parents upbringing of children

"If you have time for that rubbish I'll find you a job to do"

I think that Swishy would be the only one here to understand all that!

Jabberwocky
BY LEWIS CARROLL
’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

“Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!”

He took his vorpal sword in hand;
Long time the manxome foe he sought—
So rested he by the Tumtum tree
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

“And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!”
He chortled in his joy.

’Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

This nonsense supposed to be an English Classic?
If so, then the "Erotic Adventures of Eskimo Nell" may be elevated to Nobel Prize status!
Just saying.......

Some monkeys dicing with death

A toll booth on a jungle track called National Highway 748

Just after the toll booth it improved tremendously, well worth the money.

A bit windy going over the hills (Western Ghats) into Goa.

No 2 strokes are finished. 4 stroke, diesel and electric for tuktuks now.

Having said that we have not seen blue sky in a week even in the countryside.

The best indication is the photo of the sugar cane truck above looking ahead. This is what it is like.
