Feline means cat. Saying Feline cat, is like saying truck truck.
Just so we know what we're talking about ..

The whole classification is:

Kingdom .. Animalia
Phylum .. Chordata
Class .. Mammalia
Order .. Carnivora
Suborder .. Feliformia
Family .. Felidae
Sub-family .. Felinae
Genus .. Felis.

The common House cat is known as Felis Domesticus.

I'll never forget the fatal mistake one of my mates made, due to him not wearing his glasses.
It's a little too long to tell here in detail .. but it involved his wife, her new pair of crotchless knickers .. and him making the major error, of presuming she'd accidentally sat on the cat ..

One Track. obviously you are a man of considerable intellect, so between us we may be able to help educate the the old Swish monster. To refer to a cat as a Feline Cat is a tautology. The same as saying rear tail lights or descendin down a hill
Tautology is saying the same thing twice but using different words. For example: He delivered the letter himself personally. The word personally is not needed because it means the same thing as himself. A lot of people use tautologies. One of the best I have seen by People who should know better, is the ABC Corporation. Also free gift,PIN number, ATM machine.
