International 1564D info was created by PlayinK123
Hey guys have recently taken over ownership of a "1564D international" tractor.. just chasing info on them really..
Have done a few searches but came up with nothing so i figured i'd hit you guys up..
Apparently a 1970 but once again it's just what i'm told..
Found an ID plate with 1564D on it but thats it..
Only purchased with the intentions of light farm duties for it but if it's something special it might have earnt itself a retirement plan..
Well any info or pointers to find info on it would be great..

Playink123, I could be wrong, but I don't think there's a 1564 model. There are 1566's, 1568's or perhaps a 1456? A picture might provide us some with more clues.

Yeah thanks guys.. Have been talking to a pretty reliable sorce on the subject today and he suggested to ignore the one.. So that has left me chasing a starter out of a 564 D or a 554.. Apparently the same starter

PlayinK123, Well done getting photo's up so quick, not that easy to master . A564 is the later model of the A554 which was sold in the mid 60s , there was a fair few sold . The A564 , 1970 would be about right , ".A " is Australian made . The A564 didn't sell for long and never knew anybody who had one . Would be around 55 Hp engine, 48hp darwbar ,would be well worth collecting , wouldn't mind one myself,, Can't find any reference in the Power Farming book

Thanks Mairjimmy, she's a pretty tidy old girl really.. runs like a clock but needs a tow start as it has a hole where the starter should be..

Bit more information here
www.hcvc.com.au/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1277157683/0
When you get starter done put big battery cables on to try to get the starter motor to spin faster, they are not good starters and glow plugs need to be working, We had a 830 case tractor bugger to start , took the starter to a auto elecs and said to see if you can do something to get it to spin faster, and then put big cables on it and wow no more trouble to start it.
