Hi all

My father used to regale me with stories of his brothers Ronaldson Tippet tractor, which he bought at the Perth Royal Show pre WW2. It was used up around Mukinbudin. I understand that even though they designed a diesel one after WW2 they decided to stick to stationary engines.
Does anybody have any photos or info - just interested.

Cheers

FatBob,
They were based on an American tractor the Illinois, the high top radiator tank was for our hot conditions.
Gear speeds could be changed by moving cogs accessible from the side. Had planetary final drive.
They did have a go at using diesel fuel by vaporising it, still spark ignition.
Away from books so stand to be corrected.
David.
