In my life time, Oliver's Garage was just south of the Hawkesbury River, near Brooklyn, just where the old road met the F3 south bound, before the new freeway bridge was built. During the 70's and 80's it was run by the original owners sons, Alan. It burned down in a bushfire in the 90's from memory.

Just on that Syd- Hawkesbury River part of the new road, If my memory hasnt failed completely, started mid to late sixties?
I also had an idea that that section was built by the DMR, and most of the machinery was bought in on hourly hire contract, as they didn't have the gear themselves.
Mobs like Christies, Abignanos, Leighton had heavy gear up there, not sure about the second stage, seem to remember Leightons, and one of the French mobs being involved, maybe Citra or Dumez??
