Was loading round bales and noticed the right rear wheel seemed to move a bit in relation to the mudguard thought I better check it out before it got serious
Didn’t have Sarges problem getting the wheel off the axle got the outside bearing out the inner race was split in half
I’m in this far lift the top off and do the inside bearing while we’re at lt same thing with it so was pleased I checked caught it before any bits of bearing cage or balls escaped an went walkabouts got to be lucky sometimes
Now to get it all back together

Cheers Bluey

Good catch there before it was a big expensive mess. New bearings and a seal will fix that up. Maybe worth while putting a speedi-sleeve on the shaft too while you have access.

Well done Bluey, is see you don't wait a year or two to allow the problem to mature and cause sleepless nights (or arguments in the kitchen)

THWMBO (them) take all the fun out of playing..... I see the light front wheels..... fel would be fairly heavy even without weights, I could not see the can of Aerostart , have you got a good one.

Sarge
The light front wheels are hilux split rims tha I welded onto the centre of inter rims that were rusted around the bead seat they clamp on just like original ones and have 825-16 Truck Tyres I could not get light truck tyres or multi rib tyres to last
Aerostart/start you bastard lives in the battery box

Cobb’s
Dad used to tell us about the local baker did deliveries in a stylemaster Chevy Ute and it wasn’t very old when he had to get a set of new rims for that exact reason

The old crane has picked up something heavy at some time by the look of the jib extension.
