I may be wrong but I am sure I can remember playing on one of these at Avon Colliery in Dapto when my dad was loading heggies or Fife and Co on the weekends. Miner through the week and loaded trucks on the weekend for a bit extra.
I think thats where my love for W models came from as Heggies used them..........and the Snowman had one in Smokey and the Bandit number 1

there used to be a ole 4300 transtar in this part of the world in Fife and Co company colour's,, i think it migrated to Wagga some years back...surely you got some pics to show us

I do, I have gone through what I have on the laptop ( I carry lots of photo's ) but none from those years. Only problem with getting them is that they are in Albion Park NSW at mums place. Will get her to send them upsurely you got some pics to show us
